Large Print Collection

The library has a varied collection of Large Print fiction and nonfiction titles.

The Large Print Collection is located in the Main Library, adjacent to the audiobook and video section at the top of the stairs.

 

How do I know if a book is available in large print?

Large print titles in the library's collection appear in the catalog with the words "text (large print)" in brackets, like this:

Carrot cake murder [text (large print)] : a Hannah Swensen mystery with recipes / by Joanne Fluke.

If you search for a book by title that happens to be availble in both a regular and large print edition, you will see a set of results like this:

1. Carrot cake murder : a Hannah Swensen mystery with recipes / Joanne Fluke.

2. Carrot cake murder [text (large print)] : a Hannah Swensen mystery with recipes / by Joanne Fluke.

You will see that the second title listed is the large print edition. If you only see one title come up as a result of your search, and it does not include [text (large print)] in the title, then we do not own it in large print. Another library, however, may own the large print edition, and we can borrow it for you. For basic information on our library catalog, click here.
