6:30 pm – 8:00 pm
We’re excited to announce that musician Jud Caswell, often called a “one-man folk festival,” joins us to play and sing a selection of his own songs. Jud is a terrific musician, filling the air with banjo picking, guitar riffs, and Irish drinking songs. Jud’s songs draw on a long musical history and wide-ranging influences from jazz and Piedmont blues to contemporary folk and rock. As a bonus, Jud will be joined by April Reed-Cox on cello.
His sixth album, “Watch The Fall,” has been called a “celebration of life, love, family, and all that is wonderful about midcoast Maine.”
This performance is a launch for Jud’s songwriting workshop which starts up again on Tuesday, 1/22. Jud has won some of the best songwriting contests in the country and is a terrific teacher. Our songwriting workshop will be held on the 4th Thursday of each month.
We hope you’ll join us to hear Jud sing – then meet him next week to help craft a song of your own.
