Summer Concert Series Kick-Off – Abe Ovadia

Thursday, June 27
6:30 pm – 7:30 pm

We are delighted to kick-off our Summer Concert Series with jazz guitarist and composer Abe Ovadia. Abe has emerged as “one of the preeminent guitarists on the New York City jazz scene,” according to Musicvox Guitars.

Our Summer Outdoor Concerts are a wonderful outdoor gathering spot for patrons of all ages. Bring a blanket to picnic, or chairs to sit on under a canopy of trees. We’ll have cookies and lemonade available for purchase.

Abe holds a bachelor’s degree from Berklee College of Music and a Master’s from New York University’s highly acclaimed jazz performance program. In 2016, Warner Bros. Records honored Abe as their “Promising Artist of the 21st Century,” which led to an international tour. He plays regularly in and around New York and throughout the country. We feel very lucky to be part of Abe’s summer tour of New England!

This concert is generously sponsored by the Thomas Memorial Library Foundation.
