Summer Reading Program

Artwork by David CatrowChildren have until the end of September to finish!

Although the sign-up period for this year's summer reading program has ended, kids may continue to keep track of their reading and collect their prizes until September 30.

New prizes are on the way, so there will be some different toys and games from which to choose. So be sure to bring your summer reading booklet into the library with you and keep collecting those prizes!

As kids progress through the program, they receive prizes from the library's Treasure Chest. After completing the program, each child will receive a ribbon and a certificate of accomplishment.

Readers who complete the program will have spent a total of 20 hours reading over the course of the summer. Pre-readers will have listened to 60 picture books or chapters read aloud to them by the end of the program.
