flexibility, improved balance and a calmer mind and can be practiced at any age.
No prior experience needed for this experience of gentle, mindful movement and
deep breathing to calm the nervous system and focus the mind. Guided by yoga
teacher Martha Williams, you’ll stretch and move while sitting in your chair with a
handful of standing and balancing postures accessible to all. We’ll finish with a
guided body scan that invites you to relax into the present moment, that place
where true power lies.

About Martha Williams

Martha Williams offers a unique blend of services supporting individuals in the transformation of their life into one of optimal health and thriving in all areas. She draws on her training as a therapist and social worker, certified yoga teacher and a trained shamanic practitioner. 

Through her yoga classes she invites deep connection to body, self and Spirit with gentle yoga and movement guided from within.

She received her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification from the YogaSpirit School of Yoga in 2010, studied core shamanic practices extensively with Dory Cote, and traveled to Peru and sat in ceremony with Q’ero Shamans, Alberto Villoldo and the Four Winds Society. Martha worked for 15+ years in the world of personal transformation and wellness with the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health an the 1440 Multiversity. In this work she experienced a wide range of thought-leaders and transformational teachers. 

Her classes resonate with people seeking greater flexibility, improved balance, and a healthy break from a busy, full life.
