Technology Class: Telehealth–Connecting with Your Health Care Provider from Home

Monday, February 10 -- 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm

In this class we will look at how you can connect with your healthcare provider from the comfort of your own home. Telehealth is the new Home Visit, allowing healthcare providers to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients, whether it’s for check ups, consultations, or a follow-up appointment. We will discuss the process;  from setting up your initial appointment, what to expect, insurance and patient portals to community resources.

We’re once again working with the National Digital Equity Center (NDEC) to offer a series of free digital literacy classes for our community. NDEC strives to provide valuable hands-on experience to empower you with the digital tools you need to navigate today’s world. These classes are in-person at the library.

Registration is limited to 10 people, and is required for each class.
To register, click on the “Reserve your spot” button
next to your class of interest
HERE.

If you do not receive a confirmation email, please re-submit your registration or contact us. Please note: you will need to fill out a one-time enrollment form for the NDEC when you sign up for your first class.
