SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
-
Scribble encourages submissions spanning mediums and genres, be it fiction, nonfiction, poetry, photography, illustration, painting, or collage. We are looking for thoughtful, curious, creative work that speaks to the truth of your experience and feelings. Almost any art form is encouraged!
-
Written submissions must be typed and no more than 1,000 words.
-
Visual art submissions must be no more than 1GB in size.
-
Submissions should be written with a 12-18 year old audience in mind. This being said, mentions of sex, drugs, or violence will likely not be included in the final print issue. This is not coming from a place of censorship, but out of an understanding of our target audience. Hate speech is not permitted.
-
10 and 11 year-olds who believe their submissions would be better suited to the parameters of the teen Scribble magazine should inquire by email to Sierra at saceto@thomas.lib.me.us
